“Clean the Queen”

October 29, 2016

Again, we all must all pat the backs of our residents that came out for Councilman Barry Goode “Clean the Queen” this past Saturday, joined by Mayor Mapp, Councilman Cory Storch, PFD, PRS, PPD, DPW, PMUA and others, it is truly amazing that by leading with example we all will make our Plainfield a place of beauty and cleanliness for all to enjoy.

Great way to get out and enjoy the Fall weather, chat with your neighbors, exercise and lend a helping hand.

QCP awaiting our adoption of the Netherwood Train Station from NJ Transit. We plan on doing monthly beautification, just in time to decorate for the Thanksgiving and Holiday seasons. more to come...

We at QCP would like our residents to assist with finding hot spots that need a little extra care. We have 4 wards in the City and we would like to take one weekend each month to focus. We are asking for partnerships with churches, and organizations to focus on areas that have been forgotten or overlooked.

With rotation throughout the entire city, no matter where, we can and will make it happen for all.

Our campaign to rid the city of illegal signs is working John Franklin of the Plainfield Police has called and warned many of these companies that their signs are not welcome in Plainfield, again as you drive or walk around your neighborhood and see these eyesores, reach up and take them down or email ,we will go out and remove them.

We also must press upon our neighbors and business owners to clean up around their properties, little by little we can make it happen. If properties are not maintaining and or a disgrace to the city, call and inform Code Enforcement so that they can investigate the issues (908) 753-3386.

QCP still hearing that all the hard-working people who are trying to improve our city, are dealing with a municipal court judge that is not enforcing the laws that are on the books of the city. We as a community need to demand from our officials and demand that Plainfield means business and will not be over looked or ignored. Together all must focus for the future.

Our goal at QCP is not one of political but education and awareness of Quality of Life issues that affects all of us. Please take a moment and share our email with others. We are planning to do our best to keep up our campaign and efforts during the winter season.
