It’s time for an exciting new year in school music! We would like to make an introduction about a special place to take music lessons, the French School of Music.
We are located on West Eighth Street and offer high quality private instruction, as well as solfége singing classes.
Since 1927, the French School of Music has provided excellent classical piano and solfége training. Many of our students have gone on to celebrated colleges and musical careers. We have now expanded our disciplines to include the same quality of musicianship in voice, violin, guitar, clarinet, bassoon, and jazz piano.
We are very enthusiastic about our new program and look forward to helping students on an individual basis. This in turn will greatly assist you in your dedicated work. Together we can encourage and support the individual who would love to build a successful career in the arts.
Come hear celebrated pianist Robert Taub, an alumnus of our school, perform the Brahms
Piano Concerto #1 with the longest-running symphony in the state of New Jersey — The Plainfield Symphony. The concert will take place on October 7th at 7:pm at the Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Please visit www.suzannewaters.com to hear what solfége has done for a professional LA singer. It provides excellent training for your school’s chorus.
