Gerry Heydt is known for boldly brushed landscape paintings of New Jerseys's coastal and natural areas. Her resume includes fifteen solo exhibitions, and participation in over fifty group exhibitions in the tri-state area.
Gerry is affiliated with Studio 7 Fine Art Gallery, Bernardsville, NJ, and Windsor Gallery, Colts Neck, NJ. Heydt's paintings are published in the book "The Raritan River, Our Landscape, Our Legacy", by Judy Auer Shaw. In 2010 she worked with the Land Conservancy of New Jersey to curate an exhibit of paintings highlighting their land preservation efforts. Her paintings of NJ's natural areas have been featured in exhibits affiliated with Duke Farms and the Great Swamp Watershed Association.
