Let's all join together and Clean up Front Street, from the East End to the West End of Plainfield Queen City Pride kicks off a season of beautifying our City by partnering with Downtown Plainfield Alliance, and many other Plainfielders to help us!

We will have 1 crew that starts at East Front Street at Terrill Road and the other crew will start on West Front Street at Clinton Street. Walking and cleaning we will in the middle of Downtown ! Celebrate our accomplishment with us all of the short 2 hour meet up.

History of Queen City Pride It all started September 2016 when four local residents on Martine Avenue became fed up with littered streets and train stations in their home town. These four residents quickly decided that action is necessary and the aptly named Queen City Pride was born.

The group started by cleaning up the neighborhood streets and train stations and has organically evolved into a go-to resource for community information and events.

The community rallied around our efforts and we quickly developed into a community resource. We communicate with 1300 Facebook followers and over 400 email subscribers every day. We post about events, performances, meetings, restaurants and anything that fosters a sense of "civic pride ”.

The goal of Queen City Pride is to get the entire community involved. Visit Queen City Pride to sign up for daily blasts and learn more about the organization and how you can become involved in improving the quality of life in Plainfield, New Jersey.
